Saucy Suitors (Demo)
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Piper is a hard-working but down-trodden young woman who works in a food truck in a popular tourist town. One day, she finds unauthorized rival food trucks parked in her spot without permission - and they're manned by a bunch of sexy chefs who all leave a strangely familiar aftertaste! Piper mustard defend her food truck privileges before her bad work performance ketchups to her, and she mayo find true love in the process! Will she relish the experience, or did she put too much sriracha and soy sauce in this dish? Saucy Suitors is an original otome game where you get to date the sexy bishonen personifications of classic table condiments!
- Full-color original character artwork and backgrounds
- Featuring six personified condiments (aka "condimen") for Piper to date: ketchup, mustard, relish, mayonnaise, sriracha and soy sauce
- About 70-80 minutes to complete the demo, which covers the pre-route story
- Full game planned with romance routes and multiple endings!
The original demo was made by me, Odd Lazdo, in one month for NaNoRenO 2018. It was my first attempt at making any kind of visual novel and I knew nothing about coding, so it's pretty basic as far as visual novels go. Since NaNo, I decided to develop the demo into a full game and have added a UI and some other extras. The remainder of the game is being actively developed!
Download/install is very standard - unzip the files and launch the game! However, if you have trouble getting the game to open/run, try turning your anti-virus software off temporarily. (I promise I do not possess the coding skills to write a computer virus, lmao)

I just have to say I love everything about this game. It's not your typical VN, which is why it caught my eye. I love the character designs and even the game menu screams fun. I had my eye on this game for a little while, but decided to put it on hold. I try not to play demo's because they just keep me wanting more and the wait to play the whole game is torture, but I couldn't pass this game up any longer. I am impatiently waiting for the full release :) Thanks so much for making this.
omg... this message made me so happy. I'm SO HAPPY to hear that you enjoyed the demo!! Every time someone leaves a comment like this it reinvigorates my determination to finish the game! Thank you so much for playing it and for saying such nice things about it!!! ;u; I hope you look forward to playing more eventually!
The grief of MC is real, and the personification from each taste of sauce is amicable (not including the saucy pun :p). And I can't believe my heart could be struck by a soy sauce :'))
Anyway, I'll keep in tune for its final version ^^
I've never read a VN where I loved the characters instantly. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone who hasn't gone through this yet, but I will say that I love your characters. From the Rowdy Ketchup Man to the Quiet Mayo baby, they're all so unique!
And, while I'm here, it took me longer than I'd like to admit to realize that Piper is supposed to be Pepper. I think it was even outright stated once and I still didn't get it!
Anyway, long story short, I love this and will be waiting with bated breath for the full version! Keep up the amazing work!
Very lovely little game, so far, with cute art and lovely, relaxed writing. I'm excited to play the full release so I can date my main mustard man, Jean.
i like the look of this game and think the drawings done very well, can't wait to play the full version
